Regeneron

Science Made For…

An internal campaign that put real patients on the walls, so everyone at Regeneron could see who the science was for.

Regeneron — Science Made For…
  • Campus-wide installations
  • Portfolio-wide patient stories
  • Named, real patients

The challenge

Regeneron's science changes lives at a distance. Across many campuses, employees rarely met the people their innovations were built for, and the impact of the portfolio stayed abstract.

What we did

We created "Science Made For…", an internal communications program that made the real, tangible impact of Regeneron science visible across the entire product portfolio. Each patient is named and introduced as a person first — sightseer, wife, surfer, mother — then paired with the medicine and the condition, and their own words about what changed. Large-format lobby walls, turnstile-entry installations, banner stands, corridor wall graphics and lounge murals put patients where employees walk every day.

The consequence

The patient voice moved out of slide decks and into the physical culture of the company — Ken, Coretta, Jake, Carolina, Helen, Chris, Leah and Dirk across EYLEA HD, Libtayo, Dupixent and Evkeeza, on the walls people pass every morning.

The work itself.

Scored on the
consequential triangle.

Talkability
"Science made for Ken" is a sentence employees repeat unprompted.
Defensibility
Real patients, named and photographed, cannot be borrowed by anyone else.
Indispensability
Purpose that is physically present becomes hard to work without.
